What we offer
Competitive cheer
All-Star Cheerleading is a competitive sport that combines gymnastics, dance, stunts, and high-energy routines performed on a spring floor. Unlike school cheerleading, which supports sports teams, all-star teams focus solely on competition, training year-round to perfect their skills. Athletes perform fast-paced, choreographed routines that showcase tumbling, jumps, pyramids, and stunts, all judged on difficulty, execution, and synchronisation. Competitions range from local events to major national and international championships.
recreational cheer
Recreational cheerleading is a non-competitive program that focuses on building cheer skills in a fun and inclusive environment. Offered through the season multiple times includes basic stunting, tumbling, jumps, and dance, with the emphasis on teamwork and spirit. Some recreational teams perform at local events or exhibitions. It’s a great option for athletes who want to enjoy cheer without the high commitment of all-star cheerleading.

It is great to know that participants have the option to choose between Recreational and Competitive Programs based on their preferences and commitment level. The Recreational Program, with practices held only on Saturdays and no travel requirements, provides more flexible and less intense option for those looking to enjoy cheerleading at a more relaxed pace. On the other hand, the Competitive Program with more frequent practices and travel commitments for competitions, offers a more structured and competitive ecperience for those looking to challenge themselves and compete against other teams. It is wonderful to see the Edge Cheer provides these diverse opportunities for participants in the community.

Energetic Edge Cheer offers both short-term and long-term programs to accommodate the varying schedules and commitment levels of participants. The Recreational Program, with short-term seasons running from October to January and February to May, provides a more flexible option for those looking to participate in cheerleading during specific times of the year. On the other hand, the Competitive Program, with long-term season running from September to May, offers a more intensive and extended experience for those dedicated to competing in the cheerleading throughout the year.

We offer Intro to Cheer programs and camps periodically throughout the summer. However, our teams do not begin training until the fall.
